Barbara's Visit

Jana's friend Barbara visited us in Aug 2008.

At The Fair	Our first day we spent at the Nevada County Fair. Here we are enjoying some light refreshments.

At The Fair	This is a shot of the amusement park section. We avoided that.
Wine Country	On our second day we visited the Amador County wine country, which consists of a number of wineries in a valley in the Sierra foothills. This is a shot of a small vineyard at our first winery.
Yachting in the Wine Country	The winery also had a small pond, in which the owners decided to anchor their yacht for some mysterious reason.

Marshall's State Park	On our third day we had a picnic at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. Here we are with the picnic basket.

Saw Mill at Marshall's State Park	This is a reproduction of the saw mill Marshall built. He found gold in the mill race.
