Backpack Trip

In August of 2007 I went on a backpacking trip out of Leavitt Meadows off of the Sonora Pass road on the East side of the Sierras. I arranged to meet my backpacking partner, Charles, on the fourth day of the trip.

Starting Out	This a shot of Leavitt Meadow near the trail head. The trail will follow Walker River into the back country.

Harriet Lake	I had camped at Harriet Lake many years ago, and had hoped to make it here for my second night. However, I didn't quite make it my second day and camped about a mile down trail, so this is the start of my third day.
Looking Back	This is looking back on the way I'd come. The mountains in the distance are on the other side of Leavitt Meadows, where I started.
