Port San Luis |
I went over to 101 and continued down to San Luis Obispo, where I stayed the night. The next morning I drove down to Port San Luis and Avila Beach. When I left Granite Bay it was hazy from the forest fire smoke. When I got the the coast it was hazy from fog. That is a lot better kind of hazy. |

The last time I was in Pismo Beach was 2001 and I remember a sleepy little town. This time it was more a built up tourist trap. |

Bubb's Creek |
I checked in to Cedar Lodge and then did a day hike up the canyon from roads end. Normally I'd followed the King's River until I turned around at a series of falls. This time I brancked off up Bubb's Creek. |

Trail out of Cedar Grove |
I stayed the night at Cedar Grove Lodge. The next morning I climbed part way up the South ridge out of Cedar Grove and got some pictures looking East into the canyon. |
